My Journey to Music
I was born at noon on a warm summer day, July 2nd, 1989—11th of Tir, 1368 in the Persian calendar when the sun stood high, casting its golden light over a new beginning.
I first discovered my passion for music at the age of 5 when I stumbled upon a Yamaha keyboard. Without any prior musical knowledge, I managed to play the Iranian song "Chera Nemiraghsi" by ear, which amazed my family and led them to buy me my very own Yamaha. Later, watching The Lion King and being captivated by Hans Zimmer's powerful score, especially the grand sound of the timpani in the opening sequence, along with Elton John’s unforgettable songs, deepened my love for music and set me on my lifelong musical journey.
Meeting The Maestro
In 2012, my musical journey took a significant turn when I met Master Anoushirvan Rohani, one of Iran's most celebrated pianists and composers, known for his work with prominent celebrities. Under his mentorship, I not only deepened my understanding of music but also became his assistant, co-authoring numerous books. This experience profoundly shaped my career, broadening my horizons and transforming my life in ways I could never have imagined.
THe Great Cooperation
From 2012 to 2015, as I completed my apprenticeship under the esteemed Maestro Anoushirvan Rohani, I proposed a collaboration to bring his unpublished compositions to life and to meticulously revise his previous works and books. With his gracious approval, I had the honor of editing these pieces, resulting in several volumes that preserved the essence of his timeless music for piano. Those were years when I would often go two or three days without sleep, dedicating my life fully to the art and legacy of music. Alongside this deeply fulfilling work, I also began teaching piano, sharing the beauty of music with others.
The Genius
As I continued my musical journey, I had the privilege of meeting "The Genius" Hooshyar Khayam, one of the most distinguished contemporary Iranian musicians. His innovative approach and profound insights opened new doors for me, offering a fresh perspective on music. Hooshyar’s influence has been pivotal, shaping my creative vision and leaving a lasting impact on my compositions. His guidance continues to resonate in my work, inspiring me to explore new horizons in music.
Recitals & Events
For many years, I organized international and Iranian pop concerts and piano recitals at the embassies of the Netherlands and Mexico, especially during the tenure of Ambassador Jos Douma. These performances allowed me to share cultural connections through music, creating memorable experiences for audiences and fostering a sense of artistic diplomacy.
Piano Album
"Sixth Alley" is the result of years of dedication to my musical journey, released in 2021. In this album, you can experience a variety of styles, including contemporary neoclassical, world music, fusion, and new age. Each piece is crafted to take the listener on an emotional, introspective journey, offering a unique and inspiring experience.
In Sixth Alley, I’ve blended solo piano melodies, orchestral arrangements, and cinematic elements to create a deep and impactful atmosphere. The album is available on platforms like Spotify, and I hope it brings you as much inspiration and enjoyment as it has brought me.
Cinematic Compositions
Alongside my solo piano compositions, I have always been drawn to creating epic cinematic works, exploring fusion genres, and crafting new sounds—from both traditional instruments and unconventional sources. My goal is to bring my musical ideas directly to my audience through single releases that convey my vision and artistry. Below, you can listen to one of my instrumental cinematic soundtracks, titled "The Middle East."
Living in Australia
Currently, even after immigrating to Australia, I manage AlizMusic™ in the city of Sydney. Through this music academy and brand, I offer a range of services, including private and group music lessons, as well as music composition and production. I also teach in public schools, sharing my passion for music with students across different backgrounds. Since arriving in Australia, I have earned AMEB grades, further solidifying my commitment to excellence in music education and performance. My goal with AlizMusic™ is to inspire and nurture musical talent, delivering both exceptional education and professional musical creations to my community.
